Monday Night Football fellowship nights
We’re happy to announce the fun and informal get-togethers for Monday Night Football.  MNF (Men’s Night Fellowship?) provides an opportunity for guys to hang out in a casual atmosphere, along with the chance to befriend others who may be a bit skittish about attending a church service.

Football season is just temporary, but given the number of men and older boys who speak this “cultural language”, we hope to see positive growth as a result of our fellowship.  Be sure to invite guys over on Mondays!

Fall Football Message Series
Also, Pastor Manley will introduce his Fall Football message series starting Sunday 10:00am.  For those not fluent in the language of football — not to worry.  The focus will always be on the true principles and doctrines of the word of God.  Y

Yet I plan to communicate truth in a manner that connects Scripture ith human hearts through common cultural experience.  Let friends know they’ll get out in plenty of time for them to catch the late games.  Please see below for the scheduling of the Fall Football series of Sunday messages, and be bold about inviting people to speak this familiar language out to church!

And finally, addressing a very important topic — the upcoming elections.  Ultimately we all are afforded the wonderful privilege of secret ballot and voting in accordance with our individual consciences.  Our Biblical worldview provides the framework and the filter through which we all will vote in November.  As we all know, there is no such thing as a wonder-candidate, whose stance on every issue comports to a Biblical perspective.  However, Scripture indicates that the primary purpose of good human government is to promote justice, virtue, and general righteousness (which exalts a nation).  We pray that we vote for the candidates and issues that most closely promote Biblical justice, virtue, and righteousness.
